Sara's Bio

Sara Del Cuore is a Denver native and mortgage loan originator with nearly a decade of experience helping people buy homes and develop their community. She has also spent years as an urban farmer in Denver and launched multiple small businesses, which have all shaped her understanding of community, resilience, and building from the ground up. Sara specializes in conventional and government loans (FHA, VA, USDA) as well as alternative products including DSCR, bank statement loans, new construction/renovation, and bond loans. Through Waterstone Mortgage, she has access to over 700 loan products. She and her wife Lisa love films, books, gardening, live music, exploring Colorado with their three dogs, and supporting the local businesses that make Denver vibrant. Sara is pursuing a Master of Divinity at Iliff School of Theology, with a focus on liberation theology and ethics, grounding her mortgage practice in the belief that homeownership is an act of community cultivation..
